Biography

Growing up in the 90’s with CD players and MTV, I was surrounded by the nostalgic sounds of grunge and alternative rock. I remember watching MTV unplugged with my uncles and falling in love with the visual features of a candle lit stage as the performers entertained the world with an intimate live set, for the audience to enjoy in the comfort of their own homes.
“Great talent has been overlooked time and time again, because of the current waning structure of a standard created by man.. not by the art.”
I can’t forget to mention my love for today’s creative sounds and artistic talents. Red dirt, indie folk, hip hop R&B and just good ol’ singer/ songwriters. The evolution of music over the past 100 years has been a beautiful masterpiece. Not only for what it is but what it has done for people. So many lives have been helped, changed and saved by the power of this vibration.
With an inspiration from all types of music, I find it hard to place a genre on my own sound. I feel like that is up for the listeners to decide, so that they can interpret the story as they wish.
It wasn’t until later on in my late teens when I really started to understand the beauty of music. I was introduced to the sounds of the 20’s to the late 70’s. Everything from blues and soul to classic rock and psychedelic. I was taught a lot about the history of music and how it became what it is today.
As a human and an artist I vow to be my most authentic and original self. For the sake of freedom of expression, peer inspiration and the evolution of creative arts. So you can find me playing to the feel.. not on the playing field.
